Mi Pad 4 with thin bezels image leaks online

Mi Pad 4 leak

The Mi Pad 4 was yesterday confirmed to get a Snapdragon 660 chipset and an 8-inch screen by Xiaomi. Today, some long-hidden images of the tablet have now been posted in the open on Weibo. Thie images show a slim bezel-design confirming what we previously thought was going to happen. The tablet will integrate a 16:10 aspect ratio surely. Most of the design elements are taken from last year’s tablet. It has a single rear camera positioned on the top left corner of the new slate and there’s a long rectangular white strip that runs along the most of the top edge on the back side.

Most of the Mi Pad 4 essentials are now revealed. That includes its prices and stand out features like Face Unlock, the latter of which was revealed today by the company. Face Unlock isn’t that much of an impressive feature as it now comes on most mid-range level smartphones. Unless it’s something like the Mi 8 that has dedicated hardware than its the real deal.

As for the prices, the leaked image of the Mi Pad 4 also shows that it has a 64GB variant. While there is no description of RAM, we’re pretty sure its 4GB and the price alongside is 1,499 Yuan. That’s around $230 which isn’t bad at all for such top draw hardware. Also, there’s no knowing whether there will be an LTE variant or not. Currently, this is the only variant that’s been outed by tipsters. The Mi Pad 4 will also be heading to the US as it has previously passed the FCC.

I tried one or maybe 2 of Xiaomi’s earlier tablets, very solid, high quality devices but I sold them – don’t find much use for tablets anymore.
