Xiaomi has taken to Weibo to tease the Lake Blue variant of the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro. Sibling to the Redmi 6 and 6A the 6 Pro is all set to be unveiled alongside the Mi Pad 4 on the 25th of this month, a mere three days from now.
The phone will be available in a variety of colors, Rose Gold, Sand Gold, Lake Blue, Black and Flame Red. The phone sports all the gimmicks you would find on a phone made in 2018. There’s a full screen display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, dual cameras on the back and will probably feature face unlock. The fingerprint scanner sits on the back. Even though Xiaomi has adopted an 19:9 display for this phone, the bezels are anything but thin. The top has a notch that is not as wide as the one on the Mi 8. The chin is fairly thick, enough to allow for physical buttons/fingerprint scanner. The side are also not as thin as you would expect from a phone now a days. The phone in itself is anything but impressive. The color on the other hand is. Another qualm some people might have is the lack of a USB Type C port. Xiaomi has apparently decided to stick with micro-USB on this one.
