The Meizu 16 will be the next flagship after the Meizu 15 coming in August this year from Meizu. If that sounds surprising, it is because the Meizu 15 is still a fresh new device out of Meizu factories. That has not stopped Meizu’s founder to tease various features of the phone at the community forum to fans. A newly leaked render of the handset has surfaced today following more and more talk about the flagship in rumour circles.
The leaked image portrays the Meizu 16 to come with extremely thin bezels on the top and bottom. This is in line with a particular sketch that has been popping around here and there. The image was posted by a Weibo user and we can’t vouch for the authenticity of the renders yet but this is as close as we can get to it for now. We do know one particularly interesting thing about the design of the Meizu 16. According to CEO Jack Wong, the Meizu 16 will have a higher screen-to-body ratio than the iPhone X. That is anything above 85%. It is also going to feature an on-screen fingerprint reader.
