Just as it had scheduled, Xiaomi, in the very early hours of today officially unveiled the Redmi 6 Pro alongside the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4, even though both devices already appeared on the official website beforehand. The new phone could be seen as the sequel to the Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A announced a while ago. It features the now trending iPhone X style display notch, making it the first of the Redmi series to come with the feature.
Aside from the notched display, the Redmi 6 pro looks virtually the same as the Redmi Note 5 featuring a vertically stacked dual camera with a fingerprint sensor at the rear.
As for the innards, the Redmi 6 pro flaunts a 5.84-inch Full HD+ display(2280×1080 pixel resolution) and is powered by the Octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC with Adreno 506 GPU. It is available in 3GB RAM with 32GB storage, and 4GB RAM with 32GB/64GB storage variant, all of which can be expanded up to 256GB using MicroSD card. It supports triple card slots, and that means you have a dedicated slot for memory expansion.
