The Mi Max 3 has certainly passed TENAA certification in China this month. That is a clear indication that the handset is supposed to launch shortly in the country. It’s about time as well. However, a new variant has been found listed online and an alleged screenshot has spilled the beans on the said phablet.
The new variant is a Mi Max 3 Pro. It has a Snapdragon 710 processor. And this isn’t the first time we’ve heard about a SD 710-fueled Mi Max 3. Also, Xiaomi has introduced Pro models with both the Redmi and Redmi Note line this year, so that makes sense too. The other specifications are pretty much the same and clear to see.

What does raise doubts over the listing is the front design. Xiaomi hasn’t showcased such a slim bezel design with even its flagship this year as is shown in the screenshot. That is what makes the image fishy. The TENAA images had somewhat thicker bezels than this even though the rear is identical. While not entirely impossible, we’d probably not draw any conclusions simply from this image.
There is no known launch date for the Mi Max 3 even though there is an upcoming product launch on July 3rd. We aren’t sure it is for the Mi Max 3. However, there is a good chance it launches later in July.
