Samsung mobile has already issued media invites to its next Galaxy unpacked event scheduled to hold on August 9 in NYC. The highlight of the event is tipped to be the Galaxy Note 9 unveiling, however, the device unarguably will not be the only major attraction at the event.
The Samsung gear S4 has been rumored to be in the works, and now we have more reasons to believe it might arrive soon, and possibly might be unveiled alongside the Note 9. The upcoming Samsung Gear S4 smartwatch has been spotted at the Eurasian Economic Commission’s website for its certification, hinting at a near release date.
Gizchina News of the week
The certification document doesn’t reveal any photo nor specs of the upcoming smartwatch, however, previous reports suggest the device, much like the Gear S3 will have two separate models, which will not only come with a thinner body but will also be cheaper due to the application processor made using PLP (Panel Level Packaging).
Samsung is expected to introduce a new Gold color option for the Gear S4 and is tipped to come with a bigger 470mAh battery than the 380mAh power source in its predecessor.
We expect to see more Samsung Gear s4 details, including getting certified in more countries in the following weeks. Samsung hasn’t expressly revealed the Gear S4 unveiling date, we are however certain it might get unveiled alongside the Galaxy Note 9 on August 9.
