HMD Global’s head of product marketing Neil Broadley at the recently held product launch in Moscow re-iterated its company’s commitment to rolling out Android P update to all Nokia phones in a timely manner. While no specific date was given, the company started testing waters when it recently launched a Beta program in China for the owners of Nokia 6.1, Nokia 7, Nokia 7 plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco.

Now, a new tip courtesy of a purported Nokia support representative replying to a customer query via email hints that all eligible Nokia Android smartphones will receive the final Android P update sometime in August.
Currently, it’s impossible to predict when the update will start rolling out to individual Nokia phones, and bear in mind that support reps at some point in time churn out wrong information, while they hit the spot at some other points, so we are taking this with a pinch of salt, and so we advise you do.
