While we wait for Samsung to unveil their next Note 9 flagship, another device has just hit the shelves in india – the Samsung Galaxy On6. The smartphone is basically a Samsung Galaxy J6 duplicate, even going as far as having the same model name.
The Galaxy On6 does indeed come with the same 5.6-inch 1480x720px 18.5:9 Super AMOLED display and it’s powered by an Exynos 7870 octa-core chipset paired 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage (expandable via microSD). On the handset we also find a single 13MP rear shooter and an 8MP selfie snapper at the front.
Samsung’s Galaxy On6 runs Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with Samsung Experience UI on top. There’s a fingerprint scanner alongside Samsung’s Face Recognition system, dual SIM support, a 3.5mm audio jack, an FM radio module and a good sized 3000mAh battery to power the entire thing.
The Samsung Galaxy On6 will be a Flipkart exclusive and it’ll be available in both Blue and Black. Sales are set to start on July 5th at the special price of INR 14,490 ($210, €180) instead of INR 15,490 ($225, €200).
