VIVO, the company behind the VIVO NEX with a pop-up camera, back in may launch the VIVO Z1 -a mid-range device with specs similar to the vivo V9 and vivo X21. And while the device barely hit the stores a few days back, Vivo has today announced an upgraded version of the device, dubbed the VIVO Z1i.
The new VIVO Z1i brings with it a slightly downgraded chipset, more storage, and better selfie camera. While the device bears the same display size as the VIVO Z1, it does come with a different chipset – the Snapdragon 636 coupled with 128GB of storage, and upgraded selfie snapper – 16 MP with no shenanigans.

Other specs are basically the same as with the base VIVO Z1, and that includes a notched 6.26-inch full HD+ display, an 18:9 aspect ratio, 13MP primary sensor along with a 2MP secondary sensor, Android 8.1 Oreo with FunTouch OS , a 3260mAh battery, Dual SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, while a fingerprint sensor on the back and a Face Unlock feature which can detect up to 1024 feature dimensions of the face completes the specs and features list.
Available in Black with Gold accents or Red colors, the VIVO Z1i is immediately available to buy in China for CNY1,898 ($285/€245) via vivo online store, while has now reduced the VIVO Z1 price from CNY1,798 to CNY1,598 ($240/€210).
