While HMD Global is riding on the wave of success its current Nokia phones are building, a pair of unknown Nokia phones has received EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission) certification in Russia. In the past few months, Nokia has unveiled a bunch of smartphones and seems like they are going to keep it coming.
As of now nothing else is known about the two phones which carry the model numbers, Nokia TA-1119 and TA-1087. They were registered on the EEC on the 26th of June this year. Collecting certifications is usually a hint towards an imminent launch. But since these two have appeared nowhere except the EEC, it might be a few days or even weeks before we hear about them again.
Gizchina News of the week
Nokia is believed to have been working on the Nokia 9 which is supposed to be the successor to the Nokia 8. Apparently, it will come packed with quite a few high-tech features including but not exclusive, an in-display fingerprint scanner, advanced cameras and probably the Snapdragon 845 chipset. These are mere speculations at this point. There have been rumours that the Nokia 9 will have a triple lens camera and a curved display with a notch. While these rumours seem quite interesting, we suggest you take them with a pinch of salt.
