UMIDIGI Z2 Pro Series Helio P60 Powered Phone’s Price Unveiled

Chinese mobile phone manufacturer – UMIDIGI – are striving to become a technology fashion pioneer in the mobile industry. This is most obvious in their latest flagship UMIDIGI Z2 series, where we find the powerful and extremely good looking Z2 Pro Luxury Ceramic edition. The smartphone has now been unveiled with a starting price of $359.99 for the premium version, along with other two more “ordinary” variants, the Twilight and Carbon Fiber, at $299.99.

As a long-awaited flagship smartphone, the UMIDIGI Z2 Pro features an AI-driven Helio P60 chipset, uses a dual-lens module (16MP+8MP), an S5K2P7 rear camera sensor with big 1.12μm pixels and a large 1/1.28″ sensor size, meanwhile the secondary camera is an 8MP S5K4H7 image sensor.

Moving onto the front, we find a 16MP+8MP setup with an IMX371 sensor for the main front camera. The UMIDIGI Z2 Pro supports 18W fast wired charging and can be fully charged within 70 minutes. Besides, it also features 15W fast wireless charging, with the help of the wireless fast charger UMIDIGI Q1, the UMIDIGI Z2 Pro can be fully charged within 100 minutes.

As a flagship smartphone, UMIDIGI Z2 Pro also features other important functions, like 36 global bands, NFC and dual 4G VoLTE support. The UMIDIGI Z2 Pro will run stock Android 8.1 out of the box.

In addition to this, UMIDIGI is globally recruiting 5 trial users for the luxury ceramic UMIDIGI Z2 Pro.     This phone is poorly priced. It cannot compete with the SD660 and SD710 phones at the same $350. Infact it’s just asking to be buried by the Xiaomi Redmi 6X/A2

      I was thinking the exact same thing. I used to like Mediatek but really without kernel sources and most likely no updates to a new Android version it’s pretty much a very poor investment at this price.

      To be fair, they start at $299.99. $359.99 is for the Ceramic edition which only has aesthetic differences.

      Not to be that guy, but wasn’t this phone hyped around MWC or was it CES to have a Helio P70? Now it’s finally out they’ve already cut corners. Suspicious.

    i bought on presales the umidigi z2 for 220euros.
    It’s cheap , looks nice.. full screen.
    I wont need a new phone in the next 2 years

    I recomand Oukitel K10. Its a bit bulky but he pack 11000mAh battery.
