While the Honor Note 10 has now been confirmed to be arriving shortly, little is still known about its body in the flesh. Well, no more, as a live Honor Note 10 has been snapped in the wild and we now have our first look at what could be a Mi Max 3 competitor. Honor’s president, Zhao Ming, has previously specified on Weibo that the company will soon be making the handset official without giving out any dates for the same.
Looking at the images below, we’re seeing the rear of what looks like a really beautifully crafted device. The Shimmering Silver reminds us of the ‘liquid glass’ used on the back of the HTC U11. Furthermore, there’s a dual camera setup and a rear fingerprint reader that sandwich an LED flash in a vertical setup, as can be seen.
Gizchina News of the week
Sadly we have no idea of what the front looks like. Nor do we have an idea of the dimensions of the handset in the snap. Word around tech circles is that the Honor Note 10 will sport a 6.9-inch AMOLED display matching the Mi Max 3’s stature, in physicality at least. Those AMOLED panels have been procured from Samsung, a recent report brought this to our attention.
Furthermore, such a huge display usually is paired with a similar mammoth battery like in the case of the Mi Max 3. Similarly, we expect a big battery juicing up those power-hungry pixels. It will also apparently come pre-loaded with GPU Turbo that offers 60 percent better graphics.
