Veteran leakster @evleaks took to Twiter to reveal images of the Huawei Talkband B5. Huawei makes some of the WearOS smartwatches on the market. The Talkband B5 seems to be no different. The fitness tracker series launched back in February 2014 with the Talkband B1 has retained its basic design to integrate more features across the years.

Gizchina News of the week
The latest report brings us the Talkband B5 which still retains the pop-the-tracker to receive a call feature. This is possible since the tracker works as a Bluetooth headset. Or does the Bluetooth headset work as a tracker? That’s up for debate. The design of the Talkband B5 is similar to its predecessor, the Talkband B3. But it does seem to have received a few upgrades. One that’s staring us right in the face is the colour display. Earlier Talkbands had a monochrome OLED display which is now going to change with the Talknband B5. The B3 was devoid of a heart rate sensor. Judging from the rectangular slit on the bottom of the wristband, it is likely that the B5 will sport a heart rate sensor.
Apart from this, most other features should remain the same, OLED touchscreen with support for gestures, activity tracking, etc. The Huawei Talkband B5 might receive an upgraded battery. The launch date is not yet known, so stay tuned for more!
