Chinse smartphones giant, Xiaomi, today announced a key change to its India top management level. Xiaomi’s Global VP Manu Jain in a tweet on Friday confirmed the appointment of Muralikrishnan B as the new COO of Xiaomi India.
“Super thrilled that Muralikrishnan B is joining Xiaomi India as our India COO”, VP Manu Jain tweeted. Until his recent appointment, Muralikrishnan was the India Head of eBay, a position he occupied before he was made the COO of Jabong – the company co-founded Xiaomi’s present Global VP a couple of years ago.

As part of its expansion drive, Xiaomi, earlier this year announced that it aims to reach 100 Mi Home Stores in 2018 itself. And in resolve to attain that and even achieve more, the company back in Dec 2017 named ex- Samsung India’s Director of Sales, Deepak Nakra, to head its offline sales business segment.
Manu is not the Global VP please correct your news facts 🙂 he is the VP of India only 🙂 Wang Xiang is Xiaomi Global VP.
