The latest addition to the “K” lineup of big battery smartphones from OUKITEL is about to be released very soon and the makers posted today the first hand-on video with the new OUKITEL K8 model. So is it worth being the next in line for the extremely popular series ?
One thing is for sure though, OUKITEL K8 is not trying to take your breath away with some groundbreaking specs. It’s a solid midranger and even on the battery front it feels a bit light, although we are talking in OUKITEL K-line standards, because 5000 mAh battery is still well above the average for the current market. So you can be pretty sure the phone will last for 2 days with heavy usage. On the other hand the K8 is slimmer and more elegant than the huge battery brothers so points for that.
Gizchina News of the week
OUKITEL K8 is equipped with a 6-inch AUO display with FHD+ resolution and Asahi protective glass, MT6750T octa-core chipset, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB of internal storage, rear dual camera with main 13MP Sony sensor, dual SIM hybrid slot, Face ID tech, fingeprint scanner, 3 color notification LED or a handy polycarbonate cover with 3 extra layers of paint with metallic texture and anti-fingeprint coating.
Exact release date or the pricing is not yet available so we have to wait a bit more for that. OUKITEL also promised some additional videos in the next days focusing on the battery and endurance testing as the new K-line member deserves.
