XDA have found remnants of a new flagship smartphone from Xiaomi that is headed for a global release and particularly Indian release. This isn’t the Mi 8 as the mysterious handset has been found to have a codename “Berillyium”. The findings come courtesy of firmware files that the XDA examined and scanned in March this year. Hence, the publication also states that they cannot verify that the same specs found earlier will also be there when the handset launches. However, the phone still is in development, since an up-to-date MIUI 10 Global Beta (v8.7.6) exists for the device.
Having said that, below are the rumoured specifications that XDA thinks will be on the device codenamed “Berillyium”.
