Huawei Nova 3i to Sport Kirin 710?

The Huawei Nova 3 went up for pre-orders yesterday, with rumours of another Nova device still floating around. A user on Weibo reported a Huawei Nova 3i listing that confirms the existence of the 2nd Nova variant with the Kirin 710 chipset. Looks like Huawei is making plans for the launch of the Nova 3i.

Gizchina News of the week

The Nova 3i is a toned-down variant of the Nova 3. It looks exactly the same as the Nova 3, with a notched screen, thin chin, dual cameras in the front and the back, and fingerprint scanner. The phone will sport a 2.5D glass on top with the Kirin 710 under it. The dual camera setup on the rear will be a 24MP+2MP setup, and the front will sport a 16MP+2MP setup. The battery will be toned down to 3340mAh and will support 5V/2A fast charging as opposed to the Nova 3’s 9V/2A. It will be available in two memory variants, 4GB+128GB and 6GB+64GB, a highly unusual memory configuration. It will be made available with GPU Turbo and 3D Qmoji. Expect the usual suite of AI features.

Earlier, it was reported that the Nova and Nova 3i would see a launch on the 26th July in India although that’s just a rumour.
