Samsung might launch a Snapdragon 450-powered Galaxy J6+

Samsung just recently launched the Galaxy On6 which was just a clone version of the Galaxy J6 In India. Now, it seems, an upgrade of the J6+ is being readied as per a report by XDA developers. Alternatively, it could also launch as the Galaxy On6+ which isn’t a far stretch considering they are both the same phones. The handset will get an improvement in the processor area with the Snapdragon 450.

Gizchina News of the week

The handset was unearthed in the realm of code with the name – “j6plte,” by a developer who has custody of several Samsung ROMs and builds. The code name described above is believed to belong to a model – “Samsung J6-Plus LTE CIS SER.” The CIS is an abbreviation of Commonwealth of Independent States and SER means Serbia. The new variant may actually end up in Serbia considering these hints in the model number.

As for specs, the Galaxy J6+ won’t be any different from the J6 except for the processor. Besides the Snapdragon 450, it will feature a 5.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. hhmmm I’m guessing that this SD450 equipped phone will be sold for an equivalent SD636/SD660 equipped phone price.
