Chinese manufacturing giant, Xiaomi, is consistently expanding such that it now has hundreds of Mi Stores in China. This company started off with online marketing strategy but since the past year, it has concentrated on the opening of physical stores. As of now, the company not only have Mi Stores in China, it has extended to many parts of Europe and the Middle East. This weekend (14th/15th), Xiaomi opened eight new stores in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Changsha, Chengdu, Harbin, and Shangqiu.
The Beijing Tongzhou Wanda Plaza Store (first floor of Wanda Plaza) is the 20th Xiaomi Mi Store in Beijing and it is also the largest covering an area of 570 square meters. It has the largest varieties of Xiaomi’s products with a wide range of categories.
When Xiaomi announced its intention to add physical stores to its already flourishing online marketing strategy, many smartphone enthusiasts were apprehensive and believed that the company will not be able to sustain it. However, it seems that Xiaomi is doing well with its Mi Stores. See images of the opening event below
