The competition in the Chinese smartphone market is getting stiffer and OEMs are looking to expand into Europe. Of the “first class” Chinese manufacturers, Huawei’s presence is well established in the global smartphone market. Xiaomi has done a good job with expansion over the past 18 months and the likes of oppo, vivo, Meizu and OnePlus are looking to do same. Current information now suggests that oppo will launch its flagship oppo R15 Pro and mid-range oppo A3 in Italy on July 18th and they will be sold offline only via MediaWorld stores.

The OPPO R15 Pro is a very elegant smartphone featuring a 6.28-inch FullHD display with 2280 x 1080 resolution and a 19:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor coupled with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory which can be extended via micro SD up to 256GB. Its camera department attracted a lot of attention, thanks to its dual 20MP+16MP rear camera managed by the AI of the ColorOS and a 20MP front camera perfect for selfies. The battery is a 3430 mAh with support for its VOOC proprietary fast charge. The OPPO R15 Pro will be available for purchase at a price of 649 euros ($759) in the Cosmic Purple and Ruby Red colour variants.
The oppo A3 is a mid-range smartphone that features a 6.28-inch display FullHD display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 and an aspect ratio of 19:9. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. This smartphone is equipped with a 16MP rear camera and an 8MP front sensor. The battery is a 3400 mAh unit and it comes with a 299 euros price tag in Diamond Black and Moonlight Silver colours.
