The alleged Huawei Nova 3i has been listed on the Chinese retailer’s website, Aliexpress. The Nova 3 saw a launch just a few weeks ago and the 3i is still a mystery. The 3i is supposed to be a toned down version of the Nova 3. The listing on Aliexpress does corroborate with a few reports from earlier.
Gizchina News of the week
First up, the specs in the listing seem legitimate. The phone is listed as sporting Huawei’s in-house Kirin 710 chipset. The display is a 6.3-inch screen with a 1080 x 2160p resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio if the screen size and resolution are to be believed. TIt is listed as having two variants, 4GB+64GB and 6GB+64GB. A 3650mAh battery is a part of the unit along with Android Oreo with EMUI 8.2 on top. There’s a dual camera setup on the back comprising of 24MP+16MP sensors. The front houses a 24MP camera. It is available in white, black, red and purple colours.
Secondly, the picture might not be legitimate. Most of the earlier leaks have hinted at a smartphone with a notch and dual rear and front cameras which is not the case here. There is no way of confirming whether this is the actual Huawei Nova 3i or not except wait for the official launch. The phone is tipped to be launched on the 26th of July.
