According to rumors and speculations, Xiaomi’s second-generation stock Android smartphone will arrive on July 24th. Well, this is not a speculation anymore as the company has officially confirmed that indeed, these devices will be launched at a conference in Spain next week. This information was made known on its official Twitter handle which earlier teased the arrival of these smartphones. The company also believes that its second generation stock Android phone deserves better and it is releasing two devices. In a series of tweets, the company emphasized that “2 is better than 1”.

Gizchina News of the week
AliExpress have already listed the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite with a $189.99 starting price. This phone is basically a stock Android version of the Redmi 6 Pro. While the Xiaomi Mi A2 is equipped with a 5.99-inch display, the Lite variant comes with a smaller 5.84 screen. The processor, camera, and battery are also different between these devices but looking at the specs, there is nothing here that has not been available for a long time. We expect the official sales of these devices to commence immediately and it should be a bit cheaper than the listed price on AliExpress. See more tweets below
