Rumours have been rife that Blackberry’s Indian licensee, Optiemus will launch two new devices this year. Leaks and reports have referred to them as Blackberry Ghost and Ghost Pro. Today, Evan Blass, @evleaks stated on Twitter that the two blackberry phones will be called Blackberry Evolve and Evolve X and Ghost was a codename for them. There is a reason to believe this report as @evleaks has had a good track record with respect to leaks.

Gizchina News of the week
The Blackberry Ghost made an appearance for the first time back in February. A few more renders popped up and it was rumoured to sport a massive 4000mAh battery this month. In the latest development, there will be two variants and they will be launched under the Evolve and Evolve X monikers. Rumours are rife that both the phones will feature bezel-less displays with a powerful Snapdragon processor under the hood.
The renders that had leaked a few months ago, showcase a device that has no notch or physical keys up front. It has a sleek body which is likely to be made of glass and metal. Since it would be brought to the market by Optiemus Infracom, there are chances that the Blackberry Evolve might be an India exclusive model. Little is known about the specs or the launch date of the phone. But judging from the leaks and reports, it seems like Blackberry is ready to make a splash with its first bezel-less smartphone.
