HTC recently launched the HTC U12+ Mayday limited edition in Taiwan. After the press conference, Chen Baijun, head of HTC Taiwan, said that he would continue to cooperate with Mayday to better match the appearance and content of its mobile phone. According to Chen Bojun, HTC is expected to launch more mobile phones in the third and fourth quarter this year, including mid- to high-end models, which will be better adapted to HTC Vive.

Mr. Chen said that HTC will consider collaborating with mobile games makers in the future. However, Chen Bojun made it clear that the company only just started talks with several gaming companies and as of now, there are no details to be revealed. Generally, HTC has not been very successful in the smartphone market. Its devices are often considered as “overpriced” and its available in limited markets. Do you think that HTC would make it with a gaming phone?
