OnePlus 6 has been officially tested by DxOMark for its camera performance and the scores are not so bad. It has received an average of 96 points which is not bad at the price point it sells for. The OnePlus 6 comes close to mavericks like the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S which has scored a 97 and the Apple iPhone X which scored a 97 too. It performed better than the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus and Galaxy Note 8 which are priced way higher than the OnePlus 6.
Gizchina News of the week
On an average, the smartphone scored extremely well in the photography section, scoring an overall 100. The score is a compendium of different variables that need to be taken into account while clicking a photo. It lacked in zoom and bokeh as compared to other phones that had a dedicated telephoto lens. Noisy and texture detail are the other segments where the phone has faltered. OP6 has received an 87 on the video tests, with the phone performing well on the autofocus test. It suffers in noise correction and texture detail here too.
For the price to performance ratio that the OP56 offers, these are some of the best on paper scores. The phone trumps the likes of the Galaxy Note 8 which is priced way higher than it. The phone does not come for cheap. But it is one of the cheapest flagships on the market. Check out the full review of the camera here.
