Leaked: Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 Images

Folks at NieuweMobiel.NL managed to get their hands on an exclusive image of the Samsung Galaxy tab A 8.0 (2018). The Tab A 2018 differs significantly from its predecessor.

For starters, it’s now a tad bit smaller in height but houses the same sized display as the 2017 variant. Another missing detail is the lack of any kind of physical home button or navigation keys on the Tab A 2018. It looks much more premium to the eye, thanks to the apparently curved screen on top. The bezels are comparatively smaller than the 2017 Tab A. The top bezel houses the front camera while the chin is barren. There’s no sight of a fingerprint scanner on the back or the front. Face unlock in tow? The back houses the single camera with a dedicated flash. The power button and volume rockers sit on the right side of the frame. There’s no Bixby button in sight. Samsung has moved the branding from the front to the back. There’s a memory card slot on the left.

The date on the tab screen says August 9 which might be a hint towards the imminent launch date. Now, this is just wild speculation. But there is a chance that the Korean tech giant will unveil the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 alongside the Galaxy Note 9.
