Earlier today, Chinese manufacturing giant, Xiaomi, unveiled the much awaited Xiaomi Mi Max 3. This device comes with some good specs that Mi fans are in love with but it is its battery and display that is making all the headline. This phablet comes with a huge 5500 mAh battery which is 200 mAh higher than that of its predecessor, Xiaomi Mi Max 2. Since the Max 2 boasts of a 2 days usage time (depending on how it is used), we have always speculated that the Mi Max 3 will offer better. Talking about the battery life of this phablet, Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Jun, described it as “invincible”.
According to official data, Xiaomi Mi Max 3 can last 17 hours of local video playback, 10 hours of continuous gaming, and on a single charge, it can be used for over two days. In addition, Xiaomi Mi Max 3 uses a Type-C interface which supports 9V/2A QC 3.0 fast charge, and the charging speed is also guaranteed. The company claims that it can charge up to 71% within 1 hour which is quite impressive.

Furthermore, this phablet supports reverse fast charging which means that it can act as a power bank for charging wristbands, Bluetooth headsets, and other devices. A 5500 mAh battery is very rare amongst “first class” manufacturers (Apple, Samsung, Huawei, oppo, vivo, OnePlus etc). Xiaomi is setting the pace and in due time, others will probably follow. Although the official sale will commence tomorrow, this device is already available Geekbuying and Banggood. See the deals below
