Gizchina News of the week
For those of you who are unaware, Pixelbook is Google’s flagship laptop that comes with the Chrome OS. It’s not the run of the mill Chromebook but rather the most premium of Chromebooks you can buy. The first iteration of the Pixelbook was priced at a starting price of $999. Accordingly, the Google Pixelbook 2 might also have a similar starting price tag but thinner bezels and will ship by the end of the year.
Another report says that Google will also unveil their first iteration of smartwatches in fall. The Snapdragon Wear 3100 chip should be a part of the smartwatch. There have been a few leaks surrounding the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, although their authenticity cannot be confirmed. Whether Google plans to unveil any more products other than the Pixel phones and the Chromebook is not yet confirmed. We might get to see a new smart speaker too.
