Tecno mobiles launches the Tecno Camon i Twin with AI enabled dual rear cameras


Tecno mobile, a member of the Hong Kong-based Transson holdings, has today announced the availability of a new mid-range smartphone in India. Dubbed the Tecno Camon i Twin, the latest mid-ranger from Tecno, much like other members of the i series is a camera focused smartphone and the follow up to the recently released Tecno Camon i back in India.

Available in Midnight Black and Champagne gold color options, the mid-range is priced at Rs. 11,499/ $168 and will hit the markets shortly via offline stores. The device is eligible for JIO instant cash-back offer of Rs 2,200. It also has the 111 policy, under which you get 100 days’ replacement warranty, one-time screen replacement, and one-month extended warranty from Tecno mobile.

At that price point, you will be coasting home with a photo-centric smartphone fitted with a 13-megapixel rear camera with Quad LED flash along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera for AI portrait shots and a 13-megapixel front camera with LED flash and AI beauty.

The device flaunts a large 6″ with HD+ 18:9 FullView res and up to 87.48% screen-to-body ratio. Humming under its hood is a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 coupled with expandable 3GB and 32GB RAM and storage options.

Based on Android 8.0 oreo, the Tecno Camon i Twin boots Android Oreo with HiOS out of the box, and fueled by a 4000mAh battery. It gets the usual connectivity options including 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, dual-SIM and micro USB port
