Leica Dual Cameras? Not Enough – The AllCall S1 Might Come with Four Shooters

AllCall S1

The Huawei P20 is one of the latest flagships coming from Chinese renown phone maker – Huawei. The smartphone has been positively received for its Leica Dual Camera, which according to the official statement from the brand “will even make the die-hard cameras fans fall in love with mobile photography”. Huawei P20’s Leica camera setup isn’t the only one that is going to provide great photos on-the-go though, AllCall is indeed working on their next big hit – the AllCall S1 – which is going to pack four cameras.

As you probably know, nowadays most entry-level smartphones are packing two cameras, with that we mean there’s a rear camera and a front one. Meanwhile others may have one more rear camera to make the phone snap photos with the fancy bokeh effect. Apparently that wasn’t enough for AllCall, so they have decided to leap forward and provide the AllCall S1 with four cameras.

Cameras on the S1 will be two on the front and two on the back. Compared to the traditional dual camera or some three-camera phones, a four-camera phone definitely has some advantages over them as it can use the additional depth information from the second sensor for selfies as well. The S1 is indeed also going to be coming with a background blurring mode and an automatic DOF effect.

We are still in the early stages for this phone, so aside from knowing that it’ll be pack four cameras, we have no idea what resolution they’ll sport or any other details about the device itself. So, all we can do now is wait and see. If you really want to learn more about the AllCall S1 as soon as possible, then check out AllCall’s official website.

You make it sound like this is a new thing. There are several 4 camera phones out. Also, it really doesn’t matter how many cameras you have if they are poor sensors or don’t have optimised software.

Nothing produced by Allcall can be called a new thing or a big thing or a good thing…
