Xiaomi just released the latest iteration of the successful Mi Bunny smartwatch for kids, bringing to its 3rd generation. The Xiaomi Mi Bunny Watch 3 (4G) is mostly built and designed for children’s safety, but it also packs other neat features like “smart plant recognition”.

The Mi Bunny Watch 3 is equipped with a 1.41-inch Retina-class AMOLED high-definition large screen sporting a resolution of 320×360, which should provide more vivid colors compared to previous models. The 2.5D curved glass then gives the child a better visual experience as well. Meanwhile the strap is made of food-grade non-allergic plastic, making it safe for kids to use.

As the latest flagship of the Mi Bunny series, the Watch 3 fully supports mobile/Unicom dual 4G high-speed networks so that it can deliver voice messages. At the same time, it supports GPS, Beidou, Wi-Fi, base station charging, gravity sensing, AGPS, photo assist, EPO and HotStill 9 ultra-precise real-time positioning.

The watch also packs a 2 megapixel HD camera with a built-in feature called “small love classmates”, an alarm clock, a music player and an English helper. The camera can also be used to intelligently recognize plants and enrich children’s knowledge.

If you bind the watch to a Xiaomi AI speaker, you can then ask it where “Little Love” is to get an exact location of the child.

The Xiaomi Mi Bunny Watch 3 will be available in two colors: blue and pink, with a price tag of 599 Yuan ($88).
