Oppo R17 Passes by TENAA

Just yesterday, we reported an image hinting at the existence of the Oppo R17. Today we have confirmation that the R17 exists and will probably hit the shelves in the coming quarter. The R17 has passed by TENAA confirming its imminent launch.

The successor to the R15, the R17 measures 156.7 x 74 x 7.99mm. The display is a 6.3-inch unit and the phone is powered by a 3415mAh battery. These are the only specs that are currently mentioned in the listing along with the network bands the phone supports. The phone is rumoured to sport the Snapdragon 710 chipset.

As far as the design is concerned, it does not deviate much from the current Oppo smartphones. There’s likely a full-screen display with a notch and no physical buttons or fingerprint scanner up front. The back is probably made of glass and has a dual camera setup. No fingerprint scanner here either. The back of the R17 is black in colour and transitioning to blue. There are three physical buttons, the power button on the right and volume rockers on the left. That is all there is to know about the phone at this point. But we expect the listing to be populated in the coming days. Stay tuned!
