Alleged Sony Xperia XA3 spotted on TENAA

Xperia XA2 Plus

Sony has scheduled a press event for the IFA press conference where is expected to unveil a new Sony phone -likely the Sony Xperia XZ3, however, there could be a few other Sony phones in the pipeline, as a new Sony Xperia Smartphone has been spotted on China’s TENAA website for the pre-release certification.

Judging by the model number H4413, the newly certified device is the same as the Sony device certified earlier by the  Eurasian Commission speculated to be the Sony Xperia XA3. Both TENAA and the  Eurasian Commission haven’t revealed any details on their specs and design, so those details are still under the wraps, however, the listing suggests the device will boot Android OS out of the box with LTE support. What we are not quite sure of is the exact Android version, but the chances of launching such non-flagship grade level device with Android P at the moment appears non-feasible.

Gizchina News of the week

Sony launched the Xperia XA2 a few months ago at CES 2018. The device launched with a traditional 16:9 full HD display, so its likely is working to update the device with an Xperia XA3 with an extended edge-to-edge 18:9 aspect ratio Full HD+ (2160 x 1080) display. More details about the Xperia XA3 should emerge in the following days when TENAA is expected to update its database with specs details of the device.
