LG has today announced the LG Signature Edition 2018 smartphone, the successor to last year’s LG Signature Edition 2018. The latest in the premium Signature series is essentially an LG V35 ThinQ withZirconium Ceramic on the back to protect it from scratches.
Much like the first generation LG Signature smartphone, the LG Signature edition 2018 will come bundled with a free Bang & Olufsen (B & O) Beoplay H9i headphones, while users will also get the option to have their name engraved on the back of the smartphone and on the leather wallet case.
The device comes in Black and White color options and will go on sale from August 13th after a pre-order period which begins today. It is priced at 1999800 South Korean won which directly converts to $1,800 as of today. Only about 300 units of the device will be released and will be limited to Korea.

Other than an upgraded internal storage, and a scratch resistant Zirconium Ceramic rear, the LG Signature edition 2018 smartphone is virtually the same as the LG V35 ThinQ unveiled a while back. It flaunts a 6-inch QHD+ OLED HDR10-ready display with 18:9 tall aspect ration, 2880×1440 pixels, and is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM, and 256GB internal storage, which you can expand further using microSD card slot up to 2TB.
The device is provided with a 3,300mAh battery complete with wireless charging and boots Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
On the camera front, the LG Signature Edition 2018 comes with a dual 16-megapixel camera setup on the back with AI – one with f/1.6 aperture and 71-degree wide-angle lens, another with a f/1.9 aperture with a super-wide angle 107-degree lens, while an 8MP camera with an 80-degree wide angle lens sits on the display front.
