Samsung mobile is expected to announce the Galaxy Note 9 on August 9 in the NYC. That will be the global launch, however, the device is expected to start rolling out to other markets outside of the U.S as soon as possible. Available reports suggest the Note 9 would go on sale as soon as August 24, though Samsung is yet to officially throw its weight behind this.

Now, a report out of Samsung Galaxyclub China suggests the Note 9 will arrive one of the largest smartphones markets in the World as early as August 15. While we are yet to see any official invite to that effect, a post on the Galaxyclub.CN suggest the device will launch on August 15, 2018, in Shanghai 1862 Fashion Art Center.

Gizchina News of the week

We currently have no word on the Note 9 pricing in China as yet, however, its most likely to be equivalent to about $1200 for the 512GB variant, as it is expected in other markets. While that appears to be extremely high price, Samsung mobile officially confirmed a few hours ago that the Note 9 will attract a reasonable price tag, and won’t be extremely expensive as we are meant to believe.
