It seems like Oppo does not wish to leave any stone unturned when it comes to building up hype for their upcoming smartphone. The BBK Electronics owned Chinese company took to Twitter to tease the Oppo F9. The F9 has been making the rounds more recently since the past week when it was reported to have received Bluetooth certification. Oppo even teased the Pro variant of the F9 just two days ago.

Gizchina News of the week
Like the previous teaser, these two new teasers are all about the display. Oppo will be adopting an Essential PH-1/Sharp Aquos-esque display design for the F9. The primary reason for such a design is to eliminate the extra bezel on the top. The main reason for having a bezel on the top is to accommodate the earpiece, front camera and other sensors. Oppo managed to eliminate the top bezel on the Find X by introducing the motorized camera housing, making for quite an expensive piece of hardware. The choice to go with a tear-drop-sort-of top bezel works well if you want to achieve minimal bezels while still putting a phone on the market with a good price tag.
Oppo has also hinted at the presence of a Pro variant that will come with VOOC Fast Charging, allowing for 2 hours of talk time over a 5-minute charge. The Chinese company has also confirmed through their India Twitter handle that the Oppo F9 will be coming to the country. The date of launch is not yet revealed but it won’t be long before Oppo sends out invites for the launch.
