The Huawei Mate 20 Lite has passed by TENAA and given us a complete look at the design of the upcoming smartphone. The phone was listed under the moniker Maimang 7. There’s reason to believe that this is the Mate 20 Lite as last year, the Mate 10 Lite was codenamed Maimang 6.
The images are not clear enough to decipher whether the phone will sport a notch or not, but judging from the design of the chin, the phone will sport a full-screen display. The back sports a vertically aligned dual camera setup with the fingerprint scanner right below it. The power button and volume rockers sit on the left side of the frame. The specs of the Mate 20 Lite are still a mystery but it will likely sport toned down specs as compared to the Mate 20.
Gizchina News of the week
According to an earlier report, the Huawei Mate 20 will sport an in-display fingerprint scanner. Android P and wireless charging are also expected to be in tow. The Mate 20 Lite will likely not sport an in-display fingerprint scanner according to the TENAA listing. More details will become clear as the TENAA listing gets populated. There’s apparently a rumoured Pro version too although no details of the same have been revealed yet.
