Xiaomi Crowdfunds Black Plus NFC Smartband For 229 Yuan ($34)


A few months ago, Chinese manufacturing giant, Xiaomi, released it’s recent Xiaomi Mi Band 3 which hit the market hard and many users are still purchasing this device. When the Mi Band 3 was launched, we heard news of an NFC version which is not available till now. Today, the company is crowdfunding the Black Plus NFC smartband and its major selling point is its large 0.95 inch AMOLED display and it is compatible with NFC.

This product is a third party product which is currently crowdfunded for 229 Yuan ($34) and will be delivered by Shenzhen Ruyi Discovery Technology Co., Ltd. The Black Plus NFC smartband uses a 0.95-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 240 x 120, 24-bit true colour and its color range is up to 100%. Its content display is vivid and it supports custom dial, caller ID, WeChat direct display, QQ, Alipay, Weibo, Taobao and more. With its NFC function, you can simulate your work card, access control card and other features like NFC smart door locks and lift the wrist to “pass”. Well, this feature is limited to China and if you are using the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Intercommunication Card, you can access 148 cities including Beiguangshen with your smartband.

The Black Plus NFC Smartband is equipped with a 120mAh battery which uses an ultra-low power technology and it supports 80% power optimization. With this band, you can get 18 days of continuous use on a single full charge. Other features on the Black Plus NFC smartband include PPG heart rate sensor, with high-precision, anti-motion interference monitoring algorithm and it supports 50 meters waterproof thus it can be used for swimming. Furthermore, the Black Plus NFC smartband is compatible with Xiaomi Mijia APP and it can be connected to any Xiaomi Bluetooth gateway to view Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and ZigBee simultaneously.
