Meizu announced the 16 series of smartphones yesterday in China. The Chinese phone maker was expected to launch the Meizu X8 too but there was no mention of the phone at the event yesterday. The X8 was supposed to be Meizu’s SD710 powered phone. Meizu’s CEO, Jack Wong took to Weibo to spill some information on the same. The company’s first SD710 smartphone won’t be the X8 but the Meizu 16X. He confirmed that it will be coming in September.
