The Google Pixel 3 XL recently made an appearance in an unboxing video. It has made another appearance in a hands-on video revealing a few key specifications. The video is courtesy of a Ukranian Youtuber who posted the video via Telegram.
Gizchina News of the week
According to the video, the Pixel 3 XL will sport quite a large notch up front with an equally thick chin. The display will be a huge 6.7-inch panel and processing will be handled by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845. NOw the memory configuration is quite disappointing. It will apparently sport 4GB RAM and a mere 64GB onboard storage. Now I would not be disappointed if this was a sub $500 smartphone. But the Pixel 3 XL like its predecessors is not going to be anywhere near $500. It will likely hit the shelves at around $900.
Apart from the memory, the Google Pixel 3 XL will sport a 12.2MP rear camera. No dual cameras this year either it seems. The front is pegged to sport a triple camera setup with three 8.1MP sensors. The reason behind this move beats me. The battery on this one is supposed to be a 3430mAh battery. This might not be the final production version of the Pixel 3 XL, or maybe it’s one of the variants of the phone. We’ll know for sure on October 4th when Google launches the next lineup of Pixel devices.
