Samsung has just unveiled the Galaxy Note9, the handset is a pretty complete package, but despite the internal upgrades, some consider this new king of phablets just an incremental upgrade of its predecessor.
Taking a ride on these complaints, Huawei decided to mock at Samsung and Galaxy Note9, claiming that every year they bring real upgrades to its flagships in counterpart to the South-Korean maker.
We took a leap when we launched the #HuaweiP20Pro, we’re all about real upgrades that will make a difference everyday like a triple lens camera with 40mp, 5x zoom and much more. Imagine what will come next… pic.twitter.com/AjUS86YHyK

Of course, neither Samsung nor Galaxy Note9 name has been mentioned on the Huawei’s tweet, but the timing speaks for itself. With the possible arrival of Huawei Mate 20 on IFA 2018, we’ll soon know if the company will honor this statement and bring a real upgrade to the last year edition.
Well the Note 9 doesn’t come with a third – probably useless – camera but it does have a microSD slot and audio jack.
Also no top notch might be a plus for some.
Fantastic! I agree that Samsung’s latest devices were disappointing; but at least you don’t pay the price of two 512GB Notes and get an S9 with a Porsche label.
