TCL owned Alcatel about a month ago announced the Alcatel 5V with a price tag of just $199.99. Even cheaper, the brand has today announced the availability of a new midrange phone that aims to offer excellent value for money. Welcome the Alcatel 7 – a MetroPCS exclusive device competitively priced at about $180.
At that price, the Alcatel boast of a 6-inch, 2160 x 1080 resolution display with an 18:9 ratio which the company claims “maximizes your screen space without unnecessary bulk.” It also boasts of some essential features of a 2018 Phone including Dual rear cameras, face unlock and an octa-core processor, a 4000mAh battery with a supposed talk time of 28 hours.

The device boots Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, powered by an Octa-core 2.5GHz MediaTek processor MediaTek MT6763 SoC with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage. On the flip side, the device gets a 12MP and 2MP camera setup, while an 8 MP camera with Face Key technology sits above the display.
