Gizchina News of the week
The Pocophone F1 has already made quite a few appearances. It was listed on a Belarusian as well as a Romanian online store, giving away all its specs and design. From what we know so far, the Pocophone will sport a notched display up front and a dual camera setup on the back. It will be powered by a liquid cooled Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. As far as the memory options are concerned, it will likely be available in 3 options, 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB, and 8GB+256GB. It is pegged to sport a 4000mAh battery. There will be a dual camera setup on the back along with a fingerprint scanner. You can check out the complete array of specs here.
The Pocophone F1 or Poco F1 seems to be Xiaomi’s take on making a smartphone that houses all the essential flagship parts but with a competitive pricing. Not that Xiaomi phones aren’t competitively priced. This one seems to be a take on the OnePlus 6 in India since the only Xiaomi flagship the country has is the Mi Mix 2 which is an old device that has not received the best response in India. It will be interesting to see how this one fares against the OnePlus 6 when it comes out.
interesting name, “Poco”. Reminds me of a cartoon character, as well as a 70s band.
