Well, that was quick. We just reported an alleged Mi Pad 4 Plus to be in the works yesterday and today the new 10-inch tablet from Xiaomi is now official without much ceremony. The bigger brother of the Mi Pad 4 costs 1,899 Yuan (~$275 / Rs. 19,280) for the 64GB variant while the 128GB variant is priced 2099 yuan ($304 / Rs. 21,310). Let’s quickly take a look at the specifications of the newest addition to Xiaomi’s tablet category.
The Mi Pad 4 Plus has a 10.1-inch WUXGA screen with 1920 x 1200p resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio. And like we presumed yesterday, most of the other specs are identical to its smaller sibling. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 14nm octa-core mobile platform. You get 4GB of RAM and storage options are two which we mentioned above. There’s also options of expandable storage up to 256 , so that’s a great option.

The slate has a OV13855 sensor in the 13MP rear camera sitting at the back with f/2.0 aperture. The front camera is 5MP and there’s a fingerprint reader on the front of the device although it also supports face unlock. The tablet also has 4G LTE support which is great to see.
The Mi Pad 4 Plus runs Android 8.1 Oreo with the help of a massive 8,620mAh battery. It will be on sales starting 16th this month on Xiaomi’s own Mi.com portal in Black and Gold. For now, it remains confined within the borders of China.
