A new smartphone, the Motorola P30 has leaked in official images, thanks to a premature listing on the Motorola China website. The P30, along with P30 Play and P30 Note was also listed on the official website recently. The listing has left barely anything to the imagination.
The Motorola P30 looks exactly like the Moto One Power which is another device that Motorola has not yet unveiled. The P30 features a full-screen design with a notch on top unlike Motorola’s current line-up of phones. The notch houses the front camera and its width suggests the presence of facial recognition tech. The chin houses the Motorola logo and has a width similar or likely equal to the notch’s. The back is likely made of glass and sports a dual camera setup. The fingerprint scanner is a part if the Moto dimple.
Gizchina News of the week
As far as the specs are concerned, the Motorola P30 sports a 6.2-inch display. The notch houses a 12MP f/1.8 camera. The dual camera setup on the back is made up of 16MP and 5MP sensors. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm processor coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. The earlier listing was for a 6GB+64GB variant. So there will likely be at least two variants of the P30. A 3000mAh battery with support for 18W charging is also a part of the package. Motorola is holding an event on August 15 and looks like we will get to see the P30 and its other variants then.
