HMD Global, the licensee of the Nokia mobile brand, has so far never backtracked on its promise of rolling out constant security updates to its Android smartphones lineup. Back in 2017, the brand promised to roll out Android P update to its entire Smartphones lineup, that stance as of today hasn’t changed.
Following the release of the stable version of Google Android P – Android 9.0 Pie, HMD Global has now reportedly confirmed to Suomimobiili.fi that it will make the latest flavor of the Google mobile OS to its entire smartphones lineup which spans across all price range. The brand made a similar promise to deliver Android Oreo to all of its 2017 devices and has lived up to that, so we have little or no reasons to doubt its ability to deliver this time around.
