On August 7th, Android released its latest version dubbed Android 9 Pie. As of now, all Pixel smartphones, and Essential Phone have been upgraded to this new system via OTA. Xiaomi MIX 2S started receiving the beta version of the latest Andriod version. Huawei has also commenced internal testing of Android 9 for four of its devices while Sony is expected to release this update to six of its devices. HMD and HTC are other companies which will release Android 9 Pie update for some of its smartphones. Now, Motorola has listed eight devices to get the Android 9 Pie update from this fall. The company stated that users can expect a colorful settings menu, longer battery life, and a revamped split-screen once the update is installed. Other features listed by Motorola include a new Intuitive Navigation, Recent App, Do Not Disturb mode, a redesigned Quick Settings, simplified volume controls, and easy notification management.
