Google third generation of Pixel phones – the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are both expected to arrive later alongside the Google watch on October 4th, so most virtually all we know so far are based on leaks and rumors. That is unlikely to change till the unveiling date, unless Google decides to spill the bean before October 4.
While we await the October 4th date, we will continue to update you with major buzzs on the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. Just a few hours after it was portrayed in a hands-on video, the Google Pixel 3 XL has once again surfaced in the cyberspace.
Much like the Pixel 1 which surfaced in a similar manner, an eagle-eyed fan of Mobilesyrub has captured a live image of the Google Pixel 3 XL on public transit earlier today somewhere in Toronto. Though not a close-range image, a cursory look at the device reveals some compelling features which have long been linked with the upcoming Pixel devices.
Gizchina News of the week
A @MobileSyrup reader spotted this possible Pixel 3 XL photo in the wild on the streetcar in Toronto, Ontario today. Our team thinks the photo is legitimate, especially given the big notch and substantial chin. Do you think this is a photo of the Pixel 3 XL? pic.twitter.com/nPTGHmIVUO

In the photo, the Pixel 3 XL is shown to have a notch and how it affects the software, as well as the large chin on the bottom with its front-facing speaker. The device is also seen flaunting a large display and appears to be running Android 9 Pie as suggested by the pill-shaped home button found at the bottom of the screen, while the time and date appears to be on the left side of the status bar as is the case with the latest Android Pie.
As you can see from the photo above, the alleged Pixel 3 XL is hooded in a case, so it is somewhat practically impossible at this time to pitch this leaked photo with what we saw earlier in the hands-on video.
