We just reported yesterday about the impending launch of the Realme 2, from the new spin-off of Oppo – Realme. We predicted that the handset would launch this month itself and it turns out that is true indeed. The company just started teasing the device some days back and now media invites are out. The launch date is August 28. The company has teased some highlighted features of the device on Twitter as well.

That is also something that was reported yesterday. Realme will be upgrading the device with a 20 percent bigger battery and a dual camera. Not to mention the fingerprint reader will also find a place on the rear of the phone. The Realme 1 had a 3,400mAh battery which is not small by any means. But the Relme 2 will have a 4,200mAh battery which is just great.

Moreover, the teased dual camera will likely inherit the same primary 13MP sensor and add a 2MP depth sensor on the upcoming device.

As per our industry sources, the price could be anywhere between Rs 15,000 to Rs 17,000. However, we won’t have to wait a lot for the official price.
