Samsung electronics at an event in India earlier today announced Samsung Galaxy watch alongside the Galaxy Note 9 for the Indian market. Both devices were first announced for a global audience a couple of days ago and is just arriving India which arguably is one of Samsung’s key market.

While the company detailed the Galaxy Note 9 pricing and availability at the event, it, however, failed to give the Galaxy Watch availability as well as pricing details but did mention the watch will arrive India in Rose Gold, Silver, and Midnight Black color variants.
The Galaxy Watch, though a natural successor to the Gear S3 smartwatch, it is the first of Samsung’s smartwatches to adopt the new Galaxy watch naming convention. Based on the Tizen OS 4.0, the Galaxy watch amongst other things is 4G enabled, boasts of up to seven-day battery life, and has the 5ATM certification that lets you go with it down deep into water at up to 50 meters depth.
